An Israeli diplomat recently put a smile in the United Nations community. The representative of Israel who had been called to his speech, stated:
"Before I begin my speech, I want to tell you a story about Moses. When he struck the rock and the water began to gush, Moses thought, what an opportunity to take a bath! "
He undressed, carefully put his clothes on a rock and entered the water. When he came out, his clothes were gone, stolen by a Palestinian. "
The Palestinian representative, shocked and angry interrupted the speech of the representative of Israel and exclaimed:
"What are you talking about? Palestinians were not there then!"
The Israeli representative smiled and said: "Now that this is clarified, I can begin my speech."
